is a Veterans’ Fair at Reliant Center , One Reliant Park , Houston
77054 for Veterans that will feature the Texas Veterans Land Board,
Texas Veterans Commission, The US Department of Veterans Affairs and
the Small Business Administration. Learn about your benefits,
opportunities for loans, purchase country property, Education,
employment, etc. Be advised the web-site says 10 Am to 1 PM but the
flyer I received in the mail states 4 PM.

VA Changes Emergency Care Policy
The Department of Veterans Affairs has announced a change in
regulations regarding payments for emergency care provided to
eligible veterans in non-VA facilities. The new regulation
extends VA's authority to pay for emergency care provided to
eligible veterans at non-VA facilities until the veterans can be
safely transferred to a VA medical facility. More than 100,000
veterans are estimated to be affected by the new rules. For more
